downloaded ezportal however keep getting this message

Try to put in your ftp information to fix permissions. Or try under Package Manager -> Reset Options there is a permission link.

Yeah fix it should be 755 or 777 if you can.

If you can't do it though SMF try changing permissions via your control panel for your webhosting account.

ok found my cpanel and have blown through it several times ...uploaded ezportal block to there created usernames etc and now get 530 login failure on my SMF side of things ??

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

File permissions still bad you should change all your SMF files and folders

Hello !

Got EzPortal installed and working, the only problem that I now have follows :

This Error only happens when I try to open
EzPortal -> Settings (in my ACP)

The same Error also shows up when I have the Language set to English,
in EzPortal.english-utf8.php, also on the same Line -> 327

In both files, Line 327 shows : $txt['ezp_bbc_size'] = 'Size';

Portal works, but the Error Log is going to be full with this Error, sometime in the future

Hope someone can help me with this problem

that eval comment at the end means that the problem is expressed in that file, but is not actually IN that file...

turn off eval to find the correct spot to check for the actual error.

this must be a problem with Ez Portal, when de-installed, don't get this Error

OK I am trying to get ADK Blog to work with this.  Kindred said it's your issue and I should take it here and get off the ADK blog thread.  What exactly do I need to do to make it work with EZportal?
