you know...   actual, full sentences that express a complete thought and include punctuation would be helpful.
I understand that English might not be your first language... but one-liners with no capitalization, no punctuation and expressing only "stream of consciousness" type content are not actually useful for others attempting to understand what you are trying to say.

Yep...a little punctuation is the difference between  "I helped my Uncle, Jack, off a horse" and "I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse".

There is black background in quiz when answering questions. Is there a way to change color to white?
Thanks

There are css files where you can do it, but its quite complicated to change the design, I had a try, really quite complicated as the structure and which css to use is not easy to see. Hope that was helpful and will be an indicator for additional help.

Hello everyone...

Couple of questions for anyone that may knows the answers.

First one is, what has it changed in the code from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 beta 2. There is no mention of it in the Change Log... and Second, I sadly still have the problem of not been able to play the quizzes more than once. Does anybody else have this problem?

Regards

Burt

If recall correctly that beta version was to eliminate a problem with the quiz leagues

I'm guessing that you still having problems as per the post you made below.

I believe I mentioned about resetting the quiz results did you do that Burt? If not you might want to try it. There is also the 'Session Reply Time' (on the 'Settings' page) did you do that too?

Create a test quiz and then set the play limit to 4 and the 'Session Reply Time' to 1 minute and see if that works, if it does then you will need to 'Reset Quiz Results' in the maintenance area.

Other than that there is nothing else I can think of that would cause that

Does you Data Base run on utf-8? There is a converting tool within the panel BUT it can be that you need to convert some Datas later on in the database, as old special characters are displayed as utf-8. Be careful and you might need a lot of patient, maybe that helps later: http://php.net/manual/pt_BR/function.utf8-encode.php

Thanks for your reply Dave

Yes I did tried all your suggestions the last time, but no luck.. Sorry to ask but what would be the best way to go, from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 beta 2 ? I mean, remove 1.1.0 and install 1.1.1 or just copy and paste over the existing files?

Burt

PS

Is this setting correct for the Quiz Maintenance? I mean is it supposed to be every hour or once every day?

You can uninstall the previous version then install the new version, the database files are not removed unless you tick the box to do so.

You can choose what you want for the frequency of the maintenance, I cant remember what the default and I cant check as I am currently on holiday away from home.

Thanks mate, I did unistall the old and install the new, but it still say version "1.1.0 © 2009, SMFModding" ... I guess that's not a real problem  . That frequency in the maintenance is the default, but I just though that it seem odd every hour, that's all....

You will need someone who speaks/reads both French and English to translate the language files. Sorry I do not speak French.

I still have 20 or so zip files, around 500 quizzes and 7000 questions from RC1 and just uploaded them to my Smf quiz.

Is there a problem? These are the files I have been sharing since the rebuild of the Mod.
