ok all of my problems are solved now. but there is a little issue about avatars.

my default color is dark/yellow and if a member changes the color he is not able to see his avatar on the top of the page. this happens in all colors accept the default color. i have checked the source codes and targets. they are all right. but the avatar which should be on the right hand corner of page looks like this...

When page loads, you can see the avatar for couple seconds then the gray block comes on.

1.1.2.

Can somebody help me on this please?

amstar

Nope.  Over my head.  I don't understand a word of that.  Where is the Load.php?  What do I do if the {language} folders do not have -utf8 after them to begin with?  If I do find the line to edit how do I "add an additional index to the array which removes the utf8 suffix for the profile page"?

Thanks for trying.  I am going to have to move on.  We need the forum up and running by the end of the week and I can not spend any more time on the theme.  I guess it is back to the boring old default...

Thanks again

Is somebody gonna modify this theme for smf 1.1.3? It gives an error says "This theme doesn't correspond to the version of SMF that you are using. This theme is made for SMF 1.1.2"

Skunkie

There were no changes made between 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 that affects themes.  Just go into your Admin panel and in "Current Theme" scroll down to the bottom to hide the theme version warning.  :)

@PLAYBOY:
I am not able to reproduce your avatar issue (tested with several brosers).

panic,

I have playboy's same problem, the grey box in the avatar's place. Do you have a solution?

padexx

maybe playboy is able to jump in here because he solved his problem. I am not able to reproduce this :-[

PLAYBOY

well my question now is; is there a way to updating the current theme instead of installing the new one and deleting the old one? i have made so many changes especially in index.template.php and forum top bar.

like i said before, my avatar problem is solved. i donno how but its good now.

I think the best way to update a highly modded theme is to compare the old with the new theme files and see what has changed and update the code by hand.

To do this I use a program like winmerge (win, free)

Hehe! thanks! I wish i knew that much. Cant you make something like a "Update.php" file so we can just click and done.just like the smf update. i think it would be really nice. because i hate orking on updates. every time smf updates the forum i start all over. and everytime pdx updates the theme i start all over again. and i dont even count the mod updates. I mean this is to much guys. I think it should be lot easier.

I have no experience with creating a "update.php". Do you have a link that shows how to do this?

PLAYBOY

i would work based on smf`s update.php file. i think that would help. I guess :D
anyway now we better get ready for smf 2.0 cause we gonna have the same themes, mods and version errors again.

huguito

this is an amazing theme
I like it very much

PLAYBOY

how about UP an DOWN button on index (main page) of forum? I really need this one.

padexx

on the index page? a large forum, eh? :D

I will look into the code and post a solution...

I really like this theme, but had three questions.

I'm using a custom logo banner and using the Logo image URL option for showing the banner. The only issue I'm having is my logo is larger than the default logo.  This larger logo seems to be causing my issue as I'm now getting a light grey bar underneath the avatar/login/message area and to the right of where the custom logo ends. I've attached a picture with a red arrow pointing to the light grey bar.  How do I get rid of the light grey bar?

My second question involves the color scheme of the theme. I modified the default yellow/dark theme to an orange/dark theme. I seem to have caught most of what needed to be changed, but the column/row lines are still the default yellow.  Is it possible for me to change them to orange as well?  Two red arrows near the bottom of the picture are pointing to the areas I'm referring to.

My third question relates to the avatar gif at the top of the page.  Is it possible to remove the avatar so it doesn't show there?

Thanks!
