How did you install this latest version? Manually?

EDIT: Another question. How can I have 3 (for example) images from the gallery "aligned"? One near the other and not in another row? I've tried with (the ids are for example):

But SMF displays an entire album, then I've tried with:

[smg id=1] [smg id=2] [smg id=3]
But they're displayed in different rows...

Have you tried with just [smg id=1,2,3]? It should work. Because adding type=album makes Aeva Media show all items from albums 1, 2 and 3...

@selket> This looks interesting. Probably a bug on my side. I would need admin and possibly FTP access to your website so I can fix it. Can you post the exact contents of a message with a screwed up video, too? Maybe I can fix it with just that information.

The space between '[' and 'url' is that the message apear as it was written, there is no space in the original message.

Hi there

I have just installed SMF2 RC2 and immediately performed the manual installation of Aeva Media 1.0b3.  When I go to the General Permissions page and modify, say, the Guests permissions..I only see a blank area that I believe should contain the Aeva Media section.

I have attached a screenshot.  It is fair to say that I may have overlooked something, but for the life of me I cannot see what..

Ignore me...I hadn't bothered to clear the database cache following the install of Aeva.  I performed this and the Aeva section appeared immediately under General Permissions.

It means what I thought: file permissions are not okay. Because PHP Safe Mode is enabled (doesn't the AM admin area's homepage tell you so?), not everything will work. You need to use the MGallerySafeMode.php file as a workaround.

version 2.0RC2 smf with 1.0 beta 3 aeva.

When trying to do a mass upload, I get nothing at all except returning me to the top of the page. Verified flash and java is enabled in browser, turned off adblock and pop-up blockers, still nothing. Using firefox as browser.

Not sure where else to check to get mass upload to work.

I tried fixing my aeva media and uninstalled it through package manager, now I am getting a blank forum totally.

was smf version 2.0rc2 with aeva 1.0beta3 now just a white screen.

Yep. Changing the pattern link from https to just http and doing the same to the links will make aeva embed the link.

Hi there

I have just installed b3 on SMF2 RC2 (Fresh install of both, never installed before).

The trouble is, when I try to create an Album (Admin/Avea Media/Albums/New Album) it tells me

This album's directory couldn't be properly created, please make sure mgal_data/ and mgal_data/albums/ are chmodded to 0777 or 0755.

I have checked and the mgal_data directory (and all subs) are chmodded to 777.

I am not sure what I can do

What's your PHP Safe Mode status?

Did it uninstall entirely (and confirm), or did it crash while uninstalling?

Ah..it's funny you should mention that.  My host has it on by default and I just turned it off...but it takes a couple of hours to propagate.  I did wonder if that could cause it.

When safe mode is off, I will come back and let you know if I still have the probkem.

No, automatically.. the only problem I had is the one posted here:

And I haven't updated to Alpha 3 yet (maybe I simply should do it)...

Have you tried with just [smg id=1,2,3]? It should work.

With that code I see only the picture with id 1 (thumbnail)....

As for the id, try with type=box.

Oh, I see what you mean... It means you have a Javascript error. Check your JS error log.
