Nao, I've got to say that this new slideshow is a hit with my users.  The way the web is today, a feature rich slideshow for photo galleries is the norm rather than the exception, and I've gotten good feedback on it.  Thanks!

No problem. I wanted to add it for Aeva Media 1.0 but got into issues with Highslide. I haven't been able to fix them with the optimized script, so I used the big script instead. Should have done that earlier...

I have questions.. what codes to be modified and how to :

1. Change rating stars from only 5 stars to 10 stars.

2. Use Aeva's rating system on profile page (so it can be used as a "HotorNot" feature on profile..)

Is anyone having crashes with Opera 10.50 Beta 2 and the latest revisions of AM including the slideshow system..?

It used to work for me, but now I keep getting freezes when switching to other items with the arrows.
If you have O10.5, please test the first page at http://media.noisen.com and tell me if it freezes or not!

I have a small problem. I had to do a large update but forgot something so now i went trough error log and manually removed all old entries. Now i have some double icons - do you know where to remove them ?

Double Foxy! install.... Uninstall Foxy! manually. (Well that's a new one, lol. Usually it's a double SMG/AM install... You're lucky, the xml install script is much shorter for Foxy!)

Comments, flagged as unseen, does not get "seen"

I logged in this morning and a comment was made on two different pictures.  The Media tab says "Media[2]".  I used the CSS Media/Unseen menu to go to the Unseen area.  There's the two pictures.  I click on the text link above the first picture and go to the picture to read the comment.  Then I click on BACK in my browser (FF 3.6) and click on the text link above the other picture.  Then click on something to get away from the Media tab.  It still shows [2], and nothing has changed.  I can repeat this process and those two pictures remain flagged as unseen.

Whenever someone posts a new item, please go to the Unseen area and make sure the thumbnail shows up. Then reload the page. Do the thumbnails still show up?

They don't, on my revision. I suspect this is due to Highslide preloading items in the background. Which would force me to make sure it doesn't do that, because, it's not the desired behavior. (The only time this would be desired, is when doing a slideshow of fullsize items.)

Nao, little issue I've noticed: Highslide has some problems loading png with transparency.. Instead of white I see the bg grey (tested with both IE and Firefox.. so it's not a browser problem)..
If I click on the image link (so not using Highslide) it's displayed properly..

Hmm, well I guess it's a Highslide limitation... Can't really fix it!

As for mark seen -- I don't remember seeing a problem with these. Can anyone confirm? It's been a VERY long time since anyone has posted a YT video on my own gallery anyway... Is the problem only with embeds?

I have just tested it with a own uploaded videofile. There is the same problem, that the video ist marked as "new" altough, i hav watched it two or three times.

With other files and pictures there are no problems.

Forget it figured it out.. Had to grant administrative sql rights for the forum to have access to coppermine database..

However I ran into another problem along the way that is a little bit more difficult to understand...
