If your URL or server path changes then you need to modify the "Data directory path" and the "Data directory URL" in the Aeva admin settings.

Thanks I thought I had done that on the first go around but must have missed it.  Had to do this in a panic due to a short deadline.

All is well now.  Thanks for your help :)

tfs

Glad it worked out.  Hope the new server works out as well.

Hello, I have media installed on my forum, and everything was ok, but now it no longer marks the views of all videos and always appear as NEW, I tried to go down for maintenance, but to no avail. What can be?

Hi there,

I have just uninstalled SMF MEDIA 's old version and as per instruction installed  Aeva Media 1. 0

now at the time of login and log-out my members are getting following error: Plz help me out to resolve this issue urgently.

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home2/baaskcom/public_html/diwwan/Sources/Subs-MGallery.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home2/baaskcom/public_html/diwwan/Themes/dilbermc/BoardIndex.template.php(22) : eval()'d code on line 3

Looking forward for your prompt response.

That looks like you have a custom theme that had it installed but you haven't removed everything from the custom theme.

Thanks for your response.

Yes I am using DilberMC kindly tell me what should I do right now?

Baloch: You can take a look at the mod's download page, make sure your SMF version is selected, and click 'parse'. You will see all edits that mod does in any files. Please note specially those edits in files named like "Themes/default/[filename].template.php", and try to undo them, on the files of your custom theme, that is, on the files with the same name like Themes/dilbermc/[filename].template.php.
Alternatively, you could try searching for "Subs-MGallery.php" in the edits, and you will see which file uses it. Modify that file to undo the edit listed.

Please make sure you keep a backup copy of all the files you edit.

If you don't have other mods installed, or not mods that install on theme files, then you might want to consider reinstalling the theme. Please don't do that if you have other mods installed on it.

I've just installed this mod and I am impressed. Everything seems to be running smoothly except when I click on the Profile tab, I get this error:

Unknown column 'mem.pm_receive_from' in 'field list'
File: /home/acountry/www/fan/Sources/Load.php
Line: 1005

How can this be rectified? Thanks in advance

Hi I am having a massive problem with Aeva Media..

After some understanding we now know that Aeva is the cause of the Codes being deleted.

What the problem is, is that Aeva is trying to embed them so it totally removes the text from the post even when we try to Modify the post the text has gone.

here is a the what people are trying to post and aeva is trying to embed them therefor its removing the codes from the post

<object uuid="003779F0-94ED4CCA-9C1512C4-90DFE88D"></object>
<object uuid="008B89EE-BEEB421C-850F92A6-0B66E04F"></object>
<object uuid="009F11F9-E6DA4A7D-85AB17A8-64D187C2"></object>

<object uuid="020258EA-F1D744E2-B47FC9B4-56FB13E1"></object>

so bascially the TAG <object uuid="       Aeva thinks its some form of media..

I need a some kind of edit to fix this so that members can post there codes into my forum as this is what my forum is all about
sharing codes.. these codes are Items for a game.

I really Need Some Help fixing this..

Thanks

Im Using SMF 2.0 RC2 I have tested on a fresh Smf and the codes worked correctly soon as aeva was installed they they get deleted.

A note you may find useful, for everybody:
Please consider taking a look at Aeva's official site as well, http://aeva.noisen.com/. Nao is working hard to support Aeva in both places, and you might find good pointers or assistance there.

There is no Parse available in download page http://download.simplemachines.org/
could u plz give direct url

Norv

You seem to have Aeva still installed, judging after your list of mods.

Please consider again the advice above: do try uninstalling it, then take a look at Aeva's download page, on this site:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=977
Then, on that page:

Hi,

I have just installed AEVA and it went well with no errors, the only problem is that there is no 'Gallery' button? Where the old button was there is now a small gap, how do I get the button back so that users can actually get to the new AEVA gallery!?!??

Thanks.

The way this went down I'm not surprised Nao decided to leave this community.

I'm more surprised he hasn't removed the mod from the mod page though.

willj: I'm no mind reader, but let me guess... SMF 1.1.x with a custom theme?
