could you please do one more for me this is for the orange rc3 that i would like to try out on the smf2.0rc3 that I want to try out.
I promise I will not bug you no more on this

Arantor

Ah, on 2.0 RC3 it should be automatic because it's nothing to do with the theme; in 2.0 series, the mod should be modifying Subs.php where all the buttons are.

Ok, I will try it. I installed it yesterday and I could not even get the media button to come up. I reinstalled everything fresh on it because the Aeva would not even uninstall. I will let you know how it comes along.

I cant reply in this, so i say this in here. Nao, i totally understand you, and im sorry to see this. Im not suprised, but still. You are "The Beta Tester" and this is big loss to development. Good luck and thank you for everything you have done in this community.

put a link in this post pointing to the support thread, many other mods do that ........ If your not going to support your mod on SMF why have it here for download ? Don't SMF require you to give local support, or attempt to ?

I don't support a lot of my mods because I just don't like to answer the same questions 1, 2, 3 times, support isn't for me but develop is my thing almost all my mods are working pretty well and I have it available to be downloaded, it's simple you develop if the user can't get it working like they want it well it's his/her problem.

this mod don't need support lol it just works, it basically install on any theme/smf version

Aeva Media does the same ;)

mikungfu

Right... I figured it out. When writing for UTF-8, you have to use specific nomenclature/coding. I didn't know about that. For instance:

For "não" to show up, you need to write "não"

For "comentário" to show up, you need to write "comentário"

etc...

This is why it wasn't showing up correctly on the Aeva section... I was writing the normal way, in the Aeva.portuguese_pt-utf8.php and Modifications.portuguese_pt-utf8.php.

Hope thishelps anyone in a future similar situation. :)

hi,
instead of giving and option to media inside the profile cant we enable, to show all the media a user has uploaded when viewing his profile just underneath the basic details?

is this possible?

Hello:
My server streams flash video, and I was wondering if there is a option to add it to the site list without having to play with the Subs-Aeva-Sites file?
Thanks

Kindred

of course.... you would just have to edit profile.template.php to include it where you want...

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

I am running smf1.11 on my site with Aeva on it. I have smf2.0 rc3 installed so I can test it out before going live with it. I can not get Aeva to install on it I get a sub.php fail test . Is this because I am running it on my live site already.

hello,

I'm back with this issue:
I'm trying this [smg id=3721,3722,3723] and just first picture is displayed.
What should I check? could be issues with 4 digits ID?
This happen with AeMe v1.1b and SMF v2.0 RC3

Thank you for your help,
Seb

I've never known it to work like that.  I've always used...

[smg id=3721][smg id=3722][smg id=3723]

The type=playlist will take multiple playlist id's on a single line, but that's a Foxy! add-on thing.

interzis

yes, it is working in your way but I need more thumbs in a row.
and, in my previous post (upper) I quoted Nao's earlier post, where he said: [smg id=1,2,3]

Should I understand this is only for Foxy? because [smg id=1,2,3] doesn't working

You'd be better off asking over at noisen.  Nao isn't always actively responding in this thread.

http://aeva.noisen.com/support/

One of my struggles with Aeva Media and SMG before it has been that it can be very difficult to build a fancy looking BBCode page without resorting to using tables.  And anyone who's used them much knows that tables in BBCode can be a real pita.  When a family member of mine has a birthday I like to build a big Happy Birthday thread, where the first post is what might look like a fancy "flyer" with lots of thumbnails, and large colored text (centered).  Right now if you use two consecutive smg= tags, using the align=center modifier, then you get one thumbnail below the previous one, where I'd like to have 3 or 5 thumbnails across the middle of the page.  Something like this...

Happy Birthday
PIC1 - PIC2 - PIC3
Today is so and so's 50th birthday!
PIC4 - PIC5 - PIC6

I had always hoped I could do that with the method you're trying to use, but I don't believe it works that way.  Of course, in Nao's defense, I've never presented it to him in this way, with an example of what I'm looking for.  Maybe if you ask nicely he'll tweak the smg tag to do it?

It looks like it's centering off the video titles.  I think the only way to correct that is to turn off video centering, and have them all aligned left.

Thanks for that but I still can not get them to line up horizontally?

JaredBlake1

Hi Nao, thanks for the AWESOME Mod....

Probably a dumb quesiton but can I host my own mp4 video files on my local web host server and be able to serve it up like a Youtube video within my post on SMF?

Embeded Youtube links work great but I only want my members to be able to view these specific video's so I want to host them locally.

Can this be done with Aeva Media?

Please advise...Regards, Jared
