When trying to do a mass upload, I get nothing at all except returning me to the top of the page. only with chrome and firefox and opera this problem. with ie everything is ok. checked the javascript enable setting is ok.

Firstly, 'latest' is not a version.

I have no idea what the problem is since there should be some kind of error message if it isn't working properly.

It lists two different versions for two different products (Aeva Media 1.4c, Aeva Lite 7.1.708), and there are later versions than those, Aeva Media 2.10 is the current 'most recent version'. So which version are you using?

about your question there was no error. as I explained before, in mass download when I chose the files from the laptop is ok, but when I hit the select files the page just jumps all the way up.

OMG I just noticed one thing.


the 2 and 3 options are replacing each others even with the function. I forgot to say that my site default language is Arabic.

therefor all I had to do just switch to English and now everything is working fine.

February 15, 2011: just updated version numbers. At this point, I think it's safe to say I've ended development on Aeva Media. I will only keep working on the media gallery for our (Arantor and Nao) fork of SMF, coming later this year. I can't do everything at the same time. The fork will import your gallery data just fine.
I'll also stop selling v2.10 soon, mainly because I want to get my PayPal account back to sell copies of my game Kyodai Mahjongg instead. If you need Aeva Media, buy it now or never. Soon it will be gone. I've slashed the price by 4. If you just want the software, it's at $4.99 (with a one-day access to the forum). If you want access to the private Aeva Media boards in addition to the software, it's at $9.99 for a year. Please remember that it comes with no guarantee of support of any kind. Buy it if you appreciate the years of work I put into the software.

I have been looking around and haven't been able to find weather or not it is possible to have new post with media to automatically add it to an album.

Any help would be great thanks.

hello there, i would like to add in the auto embedding site-list, videos from a website that's not preincluded there.

How can i do that? I suppose i'll have to do some edits in the php files.
Can you give me general guidelines on how to do that? (for example: get the embeded code first, do that afterwards etc)

They already have the embeding code, a flash player etc so I guess it's fairly possible to do auto embed them in my smf!

You will need to edit the sitelist, but it's very complex and I don't think guidelines were ever written for it. One of the only people who knows how to make it work is post-banned from here anyway...

I honestly doubt you know what's involved that led to his being post-banned. It's a long, unhappy story whose ending will be Aeva Media removed from the site shortly.

actually, at one point, Nao did indeed post a how-to for adding your own sites to the site ist for the embed portion (not into the gallery, but embedding in posts)

Odd, I don't remember ever seeing it, and I'd also wonder if it's out of date now.

You can add it yourself, by looking at the file Subs-Aeva-Custom-Example.php. You will find this file in your ./Sources folder of your forum. Read the help in the file carefully! You will have to have some knowledge of regex (don't ask if you don't know) to add your own sites.

Hello all,

I have installed the Aeva Media 1.4c a few days ago. I must say it's a really great mod. Thank you for creating this.

I have created some albums and the members started uploading. So far there are about 17 photos.
A member tried to upload a photo today and he got the following error:
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1275625489 bytes) in /home/foldername/public_html/forum/Sources/Aeva-Exif.php on line 1588"

Please note that this member has uploaded 15 photos so far in the same directory. Is there a quota for members? I haven't changed any settings for size and quota. At "Max size of a directory" I have 51400KB.

I have downloaded all the uploaded photos of that directory and total size is 1.14MB
My "Max size of a directory" is 50MB and
the "post_max_size" is 15MB

After the member notified me about the problem I have tried to upload a photo and I had no problem uploading the photo.

Is the problem on the specific member?

I'm using smf v2.RC5

i've installed a fresh copy of smf2.0rc4 and reinstalled all my mods, but the issue is still not resloved; is it something related to any mod conflicts..?

Odd issue here. When I click Media it bring me to a portal looking page. It's full of articles pinned to my portal. I have pretty URL's installed.
