How do I increase post_max_size from 8M to 20M? Would any related setting also need to be changed.

Talk to your host, they're PHP configuration items, which means overriding php.ini.

You need to also set max_upload_size too, and I've found that max_upload_size needs to at least cover your content, and I've found post_max_size being typically 3-4x larger than max_upload_size works best.

I'm using aeme 1.4c with smf2.0rc5... no big issues, except one yesterday... db storage error... but the error was gone a few hours later....

i understand the developer of this profound package will not release further updates (and support) in view of the upcoming product... so i guess i have to push my luck to get responses then...

i use this piece of code to get random photos to appear at the main portal page (i'm using simpleportal)

it worked but using thumbnail size photo with all the details...

1. Is there a way to remove the details and display normal size photos randomly?
2. Can we get the highslide js embedded on page for slideshow? I'd like to put in frontpage..

The old pattern search in Aeva wont recognize the youto.be format.

I didnt realize there was alot of politics going on With SMF. We are nearing 1,000,000 posts on our forum now. We have been worried about support and SMF future for sometime now. Im glad people respond, but its worriesome if packages that are in topic here, cant have fixes openly posted.

But thank you for your help on this matter!

SMF's future is bright if the team are willing to carry it forward and do what needs to be done to protect it, which is true for any other project out there.

It's in topic for the fix, but you wouldn't expect your users to post a link to a competitor to get some information about your forum, would you?

Hiya Folks - I just updated to 1.4 and noticed that highslide is working fine on thumbnails but not working in the item page itself.

When I got to view an actual item in the gallery and then click the main photo I see the 'loading' script and then it just opens the whole photo in the same window.  One big image no highslide.  It's like I opened it at the source URL.

I tried copying the /aeva/hs scripts contents around different places thinking it was pretty URLs but nothing worked.

Hopefully someone solved this already.  Searching the thread didn't show much..
