Um, no, because the author felt, logically enough, that you wouldn't want to apply the exact same set of options to multiple items at a time. And before you ask, no the author isn't going to add it in.

yeah I now, but I will add it manually,  the think is that i cant find the custom fields code to add the massive upload section, and my question is that if its possible?

Kindred

anything is possible, with enough time and effort and code...  however, it would be moderately to extremely difficult and time-consuming.

Mass upload the items and edit in the field values later?

Sev-M.C.

yeah, but is not for me, is for the users, they massive upload many items and they dont want to re-edith them individually.

Okay small issue. Just today I upgraded my forum from SMF RC3 to RC5 using the large upgrade package. But right before the upgrade process I didn't remove the aeva mod because it would've have basically removed db tables and hence when I reinstalled it on on my RC 5 it won't have track of all the uploaded images in the media gallery. Now I try to install it but I get an error saying to uninstall previous versions of Aeva, I can sense that if I ignore this message and proceed I'm gonna be in trouble. So what I need to know is do I remove Aeva tables and install it on my upgraded forum or do I install over the current DB ? But if I have to remove old db tables and install from scratch how do I get it to track all my current images?
Hope I have made myself clear.

Um, no it wouldn't.

when you used the large upgrade package, did you also overwrite the installed packages list in the packages directory?

Yes, I basically overwrote everything and had to install all mods from scratch. What do I do now guys? Do I manually remove the Aeva DB tables but I know if I do that I'll lose track of all info stored in gallery (as in records) ? A solution would be nice.

If you copied all files from the large upgrade and overwrote the previous files it shouldn't be telling you to uninstall the previous version. Don't delete the Aeva DB tables or you will lose everything. Also is your "mgal_data" folder still there? It should be.

TRUNCATE  TABLE smf_log_packages

That query will reset the package manager so it thinks all mods are uninstalled.

agent47

Could you be more specific by truncate?
So I ignored and went ahead with the install but it kept breaking /?action=media but now I successfully uninstalled it and I'm back where I was. Anymore suggestions fellas?

So what happens if you now try to re-install AEVA?

You run "TRUNCATE  TABLE smf_log_packages" from phpMyAdmin on the smf_log_packages table.

Well I did re-install it but it kept breaking the media page for some reason and so I uninstalled it. I really need some help as the media section is a very important section of my site. Yes, I even truncated that table but it's an issue with the installation that I'm having. It's after the installation.
