Hello...

I have the exact 2 below problems:

Hiya Folks - I just updated to 1.4 and noticed that highslide is working fine on thumbnails but not working in the item page itself.

When I got to view an actual item in the gallery and then click the main photo I see the 'loading' script and then it just opens the whole photo in the same window.  One big image no highslide.  It's like I opened it at the source URL.

I tried copying the /aeva/hs scripts contents around different places thinking it was pretty URLs but nothing worked.

Hopefully someone solved this already.  Searching the thread didn't show much..

If a visual will help...

Here is the Highslide pop-up viewer in Aeva Media gallery. Note how on the right side the vertical scroll bar appears... and chops off the right side of the video... as well as the Small/Large links and Details links on the lower right side of the video.

Then..., because the vertical scroll bar has appeared and cut off the full width of the display, the horizontal scroll bar also appears.

Also note how the slide show controls appear over the horizontal slide bar. ( not sure why those are there). And of course the description is not visible unless you scroll down. It normally would appear directly below the title on the lower left that says " Yacht Club Opening Day"

Can someone help please ?

Getting the following error when i try to upload photos, not had this problem before until today.

The Flash upload module sent the following error.

Error type: uploadError

The most common reason for this problem is that your core forum is set to use www.yourforum.com but your themes are set to use yourfourm.com (no www) ... These two names need to be the same or the Flash uploader thinks you are trying to do a cross domain upload and halts the process. 

So step one is to go through your theme, forum and media settings and make sure the names are the same (all with www).  Alternatively you can remove the www everywhere and add a crossdomain.xml file (use search in this topic)

Any ideas of file name i should be looking for?

If you are using smf 1.1.14 then you will need to edit load.php and add a line to the browser detection code.

I've installed Aeva Media 1.4w on my SMF 2.0.

Auto-Embedding was working well at the beginning, but now not working at all.

I've not changed any Aeva Media mod or SMF setting.

What could be a problem?

Please help me to rename the "Media" button into "Picture Gallery", I've  search in subs.php, aeva.english.php and no chance.
I'm newbie in php.

I believe that there is actually an option in the admin for renaming the button.... at least there is on 2.10

Otherwise, change it in modifications.english.php

I have installed Aeva media 1.4 and set the permission but users cannot see the menu/botton.

I installed smf2.0 and aeva media 1.4. But nothing works when it comes to embedding videos. Please help me. What am I doing wrong?

@ smartblogz : recommend check permissions both in Aeva admin and the Aeva settings in membergroup permissions.

@ Dave : check you have enabled embedding in Aeva > Admin and ticked the boxes of the sites from where you want to embed eg. Youtube. Click Save (easily forgotten).

aslo, you should have an alt tag as well...

Oops, missed that out. I had the alt tag due to the links before the image tags. Also still having the same error.

EDIT: Thought you said "Shouldn't have an alt tag" i'll fix it.

img is a self closing tag...
also... is that actually the correct image directory? You may want to use the absolute url or the relative forum url.... using the smf url variables.
