still getting errors with the emphasis on the plural part of errors...

I have (40) errors in my log for the Line 136 error posted below and (1) error for the Line 2487.  Both of these are in the Sub-MGallery.php file.

The info is posted below in the attachments..

v2.0 b3.1
default theme

(The bottom error may have been taken care of because that was prior to the last fix.  The one above is the oldest version of the most current error which I've received 40 of and are AFTER the fix other than that one.)

Question on permissions:

User albums...  one of my staff noticed that he could modify (add, delete, change) my user album.   I thought this might be an error, but then I realized that he had the moderate gallery function checked...

Can normal users (i.e. moderate gallery not checked) modify another user's album?
What is the difference between moderate and manage/administrate?

When does approval come into it? I see the "approve..." permission(s), but don't see anywhere in the gallery to require approvals...

As a possible future permission, I suggest two moderate permissions: one for general public albums (i.e. albums set up through the back-end) and  one for user albums. I can see points where I would only want certain members of the staff to be able to muck around with other user's albums.

Moderation should not give them access to managing user album's, only gallery administrators have that rights. Since moderators cannot access anything of the admin panel, and some other's user album can be only modified there.
Moderate permissions gives them permission to modify any item or comment or add item in any album and see all the albums regardless of the membergroups.
Manage permission gives them the permission of moderate as well as gives them full blown access to Admin panel.

And approval can be set for comments/albums and items and it works like Post approval, its administration is under "Submissions" area.

Alright!  Installed on SMF2beta4public, but had to manually created a directory "/tmp" in order to avoid an error after uploading an image.

So far, so good.  No errors/warnings yet.  I have this mod installed along with the following mods(in alphabetical order):
* Apache Error Handler  1.0
* Auto Embedded Video 3.1.2
* EmailValidator 1.0
* More Spiders 1.2
* PortaMx v0.93.0
* Thank-O-Matic 2.0beta4
* The Rules 1.06

Thanks for the mod. :)

Hi!

Would it be possible to totally disable "User Albums"?
I mean, totally. As if they were never there.

When creating an account the "Icon" allows full size images to be displayed on the Gallery Albums list, it doesn't seem to resize them.
This is noticeable when a New User uploads a large image to their account.

Also would it be possible to have a Generic Icon next to the "View User Albums" in the main Gallery view?

I'm looking forward to you finishing your exams and writing the Gallery migration script.

does the new version include a "update" script or do I have to uninstall the old version and re-install? (please no....)

I just upgraded. (No Problems encountered)
Uninstall Old and Re-Install New.

meh....   I instaled this mod first, and then added 3 more... so unfortunately, it won't be clean and I will have to go in and manually remove code. :(

I want mod authors who release either a changelog or an update-only  package....   :P

Meh I'll later :P. But I released it in a hurry after discovering that security flaw.

never really got it to work - it did not extract the folders needed so i created them myself and even after this the upload funktion would not work. So i uninstalled it again !

Great work but i guess this gallery was not ment for me !

can you add support for embeded videos from gametrailers.com ??

ummm....  why?   This is a gallery function. You don't embed videos from others sites in your site's gallery
