How do I get the mass upload to work?
RC1 and SMG 1.5.3
I can upload single pictures. But the mass upload does not work.

I can submit pictures, but when I click on upload, nothing happens. Nor are there errors
in the error log.

Does the first file upload and freeze? or nothing at all happens when you click upload?

Nothing at all happens.

I've never had that particular problem. I'll let somone else try to solve it. :\

SgtMic

It's definitely odd. I run another forum off the same server and the mass upload works just fine.
That board is running Beta4.

The mass upload actually works like a charm for me... in a Beta 4 SMF forum.

SgtMic

My Beta4 works like a charm as well.

It's the RC1 that is having the issue.

Just upgraded to 1.5.3 and when I perform a 'Recount Totals' in Gallery maintenance I get this error:

Database Error

Unknown column 'num_comments' in 'field list'
File: /home/content/x/x/x/xxxxxxxxx/html/forum/Sources/MGallery-Admin.php
Line: 1260

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.7, while your database is at version 1.1.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

I checked MGallery-Admin.php and there isn't even any text in line 1260, it's blank.

Not sure about the whole DB thing, I'm running 1.1.7 and everything is up to date.

Mystery?

Is it possible to use this mod, if your website doesn't support FFMPEG?

Around that line find {db_prefix}mgallery_comments and replace with {db_prefix}mgallery_media

Its fine for me in RC1, do you have crossdomain security XML file installed? If no search and upload it.

@Mystery - Yes, FFMPEG is only required to fetch some information and video's thumbnails, without that these features would be disabled and rest would function fine.

Installed the crossdomain.xml and still no go.

I can send a pm for a test account if you want to take a look.

Here is the code for the Upload button. javascript:Uploader.startNext();

Think it might be a JS issue?

odd occurence,

One install on one server (clean install on 2.0RC1) everything works perfectly

The other install, different server, this time upgrading the the beta version of the mod, and the "folder" icons are not appearing...   actually NO icons appear for folders, even if I specify them to be different from the default the only fix for the missing folder icon is to go into the database and set the folder icon to "null"

the properties says:
http://site.com/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=38;icon
(and so on for each album ID)

PM sent

Draggon was able to mass upload with no issues at all.
I used a different PC and had no issues. It narrows the issue
down to this PC and that specific site.
