I installed v. 1.5.6

I am very happy with it, although I have a couple of questions, and hope I just didn't miss the answers somewhere.

1. Is there anyway to embed photos from photobucket, etc...or is the only option for adding photos, to upload from your computer?
2. Is there anyway to password-protect a General album so that only ADMIN can edit/add to it?

 When im clicking at "FTP"; "Permissions"; "Membergroup Quotas" or "Custom fields" links located at gallery admin section, im getting errors:

Unable to load the 'mgallery_admin_ftpimport' template.
Unable to load the 'mgallery_admin_perms' template.
Unable to load the 'mgallery_admin_quotas' template.
Unable to load the 'mgallery_admin_fields' template.

what could it be? everything else seems to be ok

Not for now, although it's in my to-do-list. I'll at least consider it for SMG 2.1 or something.
I've recently decided I would try NOT to add any new features to SMG 2.0 because otherwise it'll never be out of beta and I'll never be able to release it officially and retire v1.5.6. I'll get started on 2.1 as soon as 2.0 is out, though. (Hopefully.)

I don't think so.
Do you want people to be able to browse that album but only admins could post in it, or you just want to have an album where only admins can post (which, basically, is easy: just have the main admin create a user album and any admin can post in it)? Currently the only way I could "do" it for general albums is to change the way unbrowsable albums are handled for General albums. Still- they would be hidden.

Still not able to install mod.Iwas thinking that if i uninstalled the highslide image mod maybe that would work.I still get the Sources_Manage_Permissions failed error.

It's all good.  It's fine the way it is, but it would just be a nice extra.  I can't imagine all the work you've done thus far.  Great job!

Either Admins only, or the creator only.  Maybe I can already do that, but now I can't remember.  Darn.  I've been so tired lately.  I'll check.  I am asking for albums that were created in Gallery Lite, since I believe that new albums created in Gallery Media can be set up like that from the start.  I'm trying to remember, but I really should look before I speculate.  It's been a long day.

in my forum, the tag [smg id=9989] in example, doesn´t work at the inicial topic, and works normally from second and the others.
Is there anything to fix or configure it?

I've been running some test albums today, and noticed my "mass upload" doesn't work.  It does say if it's inoperable, it could be a flash or javascript issue, so I'll check that out.

I dunno. I'd say this can be modded by changing a line or two but it's the kind of thing you'll have to modify again every time you upgrade...

Yes, really.
I don't think I'll be adding new features anyway so it won't be long before it's out of beta. I'd say it'll be released in October or so. So if you want to wait, either way it's fine. Just make sure you update when 2.0 is out, whatever your current version.

Thanks for the Honest Answer. I currently have 1.5.4 on a custom theme using 1.1.9. Since I am using a Custom Theme - Everytime I do an update - i will need to do the Parse Changes Correct? And One Final (OK I will have more LOL) but does the new Version link User Albums to their profile so they can liknk Pics to their signature or Profile Pic?

Do you have the WYSIWYG Quick Reply mod installed?  This is the same thing happening to me.

@jmil> SMG doesn't touch templates. It has its own which gets inserted into the Default folder. Basically, you don't need to install manually simply because you have a custom theme.
I don't understand your other question. Have a look at the gallery on http://noisen.com -- you'll see the latest version available, obviously.

Hey guys.  My javascript is enabled, but there must be something amiss with that javascript code.  The browse button works, but it uses Flash.  It's just when I go to upload, nothing happens.  No error messages, just nothing.  I don't know what file to look in to see if there's something wrong with the coding.

It may work perfectly, but it breaks the SMG tag, for a reason I do not know. (I have yet to install it on my site. I'm currently rebuilding the theme from scratch and I don't want any interference.)

It's a bit outdated.
For instance, as I mentioned in that topic, php values are now indicated in the SMG admin settings area. Also, the credits area states whether php safe mode & apache mod_security modules are enabled. (They should be disabled for best results.)
