Shop mod doesn't work on RC1/2 yet I believe.

Adding links at top of theme should be fine

You'll need to ask Bloc about TinyPortal

I have a problem with updating my forum, I only get up "Unknown column 'a.attachmentType' in 'field list'," when I  try to log on. What have I done wrong?
I hope somebody can help me!

Owain

Spell Checker doesnt seem to work either ???  ???

Commando, you need to run upgrade.php, in the root forum directory.

Owain, can you post your problem in the support boards with link/description etc :)

I have done it, but the same error pops up!

Grudge

What are you upgrading from/to. upgrade.php has definetely not done it's job properly if you end up with that error message. Are you sure you have using the upgrade.php from RC2 and not a previous one?

This was the scariest upgrade/update to watch.  I have had a smf forum since January.

The upgrade went without a hitch.  I have 130,000 + posts, 332 members, so it took 9 minutes including the file upload time.

Excellent!

This upgrade, so far, has taken care of all the issues I had with RC1.

Great Job!

hey is somebody knows if it works with tiny portal 0,75, or I must hope

my SMF is www.electronik.net/forum

I just checked. Tried to install TinyPortal in RC2, but it wouldn't let it. On my home machine I am currently running a 1.1 RC1 with TinyPortal, and a RC2 set of forums.

I think that perhaps it is time to pick the mod apart to see what it changes and see if I can figure out how to upgrade the mod so it will work. :)  I think that I am going to need to do this with several mods, as my live forums has about 5 or 6 mods applied along with a large number of specific tweaks (time to  install another version of 1.1 RC1 locally, make it a duplicate of my live forums, and then try the upgrade to see what I need to change and/or redo) --sigh--

For now you will need to manually install TP.

I upgraded my forums just now and there are some problems that I'm experiencing.  Seems like my smiley sets have gone out of wack, but that's not the biggest problem I'm experiencing at the moment.  When I do a REPLY to a thread there are these borders around all the images that you can click on (see screenshot below).  I'm using the Ragnarok by Viking Chief, but even if I try another theme that states it's ready for 1.1 RC1 or RC2 it does the same thing.  Thoughts or suggestions on fixing this?  Thanks!

Nevermind

EDIT: I got it to work... But thanks for the help anyway!

dustrho. RC1 themes wont work with RC2 without upgrading.
To fix that image border: copy .img class from default themes css file.

Could I also ask everyone who may experience any problems with this update to post about it in the support boards, and not in this topic. This will ensure we do not miss any support requests!
Thanks.

Awesome job all involved :)
Happy new year from the Netherlands

Sincere

would not it be a wise idea not to use this RC in a development milieu??

I have the feeling I should wait for a final stable version.

who agrees ?

Do you need a special mod for your smf forums? contact me for a quote.

expendable

Shouldn't the new default theme be available on this board?
