I'd recommend simply making Nao moderator for this forum and removing the post holds. Its his deal anyway. Maybe give a warning on the board description and/or in a sticky, etc that he is kind of difficult and give some tips on how to avoid bringing out the dark side.

Sorry! I tested it in IE ver. 7.0.5730...in my work not installed IE8, i have it in my home.

This technique only allows for on-the-fly rotations, it doesn't "save" the picture. Please read my posts again...

And again: this technique is not going to be used in Aeva Media. I only put it into a specific revision for those who are curious to see it in action. (After all, I did waste a day of work on it...)

I have understood all. While rotate possibilities in gallery it is not expected. Thanks for spent time and for excellent gallery!

PS: not much has changed since Aeva 7.x though. If anything (maybe just the instructions.)

TheRenegade, you need to read the documentation. The auto-embedder needs to be enabled, if it isn't already. Check the site list too.

I would recommend something similar but not still.
Put me as a local moderator, and then I can delete offensive posts before they're made public. Then I don't feel the need to reply in public, and I can deal with it by PM with the author if I want (or not at all if I don't.)

I also used to approve posts on this board everytime I saw them pending, but have been unable to do so at the moment...

BTW, I've asked twice already, it won't hurt to ask a third time: could anyone with the rights, rename the board to simply 'Aeva Media'? I don't see the point in having such a long name... If anything, it tends to make the board name stand out, which, I believe, is something the team would prefer to avoid...

Understandable, and IMO this wouldn't need to be moderated anymore... Especially now that the approval rate is impaired...

Hi Nao,

If I set the server language to english, I see the admin panel properly, but there is no text in the membergroups admin area for the Aeva Media.

If I switch to English UT8 the the situation is reversed, but even after setting the priveledges, users still cannot see a gallery button.

Thanks, Nao, for keeping the Aeva Media development up with minor (however very noticeable) fixes and changes that have been on the gallery script for a long time.

Hey , thanks Nao - i never had a mod which has been updated so often in my board. You should consider an "installed/updated x times" counter somewhere in admin panel *joke*

I have a problem that may be related to Aeva/ We installed it about 3 months ago on very busy site. Since then, every once in a while the index page causes the CPU to go to 100% usage. Some one replies to a thread, and there it goes. Somewhat random. When it happens, the whole SMF board comes to a screeching halt. I don't have anyway to get into those threads to see if there is video in them.. but this is the only mod I have installed and it started happening after it was installed.

I'd rather not remove the mod - my users love it. Anyone else having this issue or have a suggestion on how I might test Aeva to see if that is where it's coming from?

I've already had a couple of people telling me they can't leave comments.  They said it wants them to "subscribe."  They of course don't realize that the "Comments" link is really an RSS link for comments.

Could we add in a button at the top of the comments that says something obvious like "Add Comment"?

I reloaded the pages until finished but only 500 of 1300 photos were converted. Have I done anything wrong or is is this known?

AFAIK, if you keep reloading the page, it'll go through the entire gallery in the end.

For those of you who're having trouble with the menu and don't know what a hard refresh is, I've decided to cut myself the hassle of repeating the same thing over and over again, so I've renamed the style.css file to am.css, forcing your browser to download it in the process

Will be in beta 3, of course.

* Renamed style-up.css to up.css and style.css to am.css, not only to save a couple of bytes per page (who cares!), but to make sure everyone's loading an up to date stylesheet (I'm sick with people reporting a broken menu ) (stylesheet files, Aeva-Admin.php, Aeva-Gallery.php, Aeva-Gallery2.php, Aeva-Subs.php)
! Page titles and linktree were using 'Aeva Media' instead of 'Media' (or anything you choose to be in the tab) or 'Home' and 'Albums' for the homepage and the album list. (Aeva-Gallery.php, Aeva-Gallery2.php)
! Always show the 'Messages' area at the bottom of the item pages, only add a 'No comments' placeholder if no comments have been posted. Used the opportunity to move the Messages RSS link (for the Foxy! add-on) to that area as well, saving some space in the main button bar. (Aeva.template.php)

BTW: Moderation is currently turned off...    please don't make me turn it back on because I hate having to sort through and approve posts.... even more than Nao hates getting an influx of approvals inserted before his latest post.
