It depends on a lot of factors. I'll venture with a no. Just upload your vids on YouTube, Dailymotion, etc, and embed them in your posts or in your gallery (single item upload -> embed link).

That depends on how many people visit your site and will check your videos and how large the videos are. For example, assume you have five videos of each 6 MB, and 100 people check all five in one month, then you have:

100 * 5 * 6 = 3 GB bandwidth usage from these five videos.

OK, currently it's being display to the left lower section on my forums, can i at-least center it ? or move it and put in my footer

Im sure this is a noob question, but i have read the FAQ, searched with various search terms and still cant find a definitive answer as to how to add a tab to access my gallery.
I running SMF 1.1.11 with the theme B l a c k - R a i n V.2 by C r i p.
I want to add a tab "Gallery" at the top of my forum next to the existing tabs for Login, Search, Logout etc.
I read somewhere about editing the index.template.php file but wasnt able to find the section that required editing.
I believe i have to insert the server path as the link for the tab i.e. /home/mysite/public_html/myforum/mgal_data, but aside from that im not sure what else needs to be done.

I just noticed that if i change my theme back to the SMF Default theme, a Media tab/button appears and allows access to the Gallery. So it looks like the issue is with the Black Rain V2 theme im using. Really would like to stick with this theme if possible.

Any help would be appreciated or even a link to another thread where this is explained.

Hi, I just installed Aeva media gallery.
Everything went well. The only thing is that I'm using a custom theme. I managed to get the button in the navigation bar, but when I open with firefox the button is out of place.
In IE it shows on the correct spot, but not with any other browser. It stand son the complete right side of the navigationbar

I'm using SMF 1.1.11 The gallery is on http://forum.bushcraftnederland.nl
Can someone help me out.

I want to set a fix size for youtube embeds, the settings only allow to set a max size .. Using SMF 2.0 and Old-Aeva-7.0.706.zip

You mean, override the normal/large options below vids?
You can set an override. If the min size is the same as the max size, it won't show the controls. IIRC.
