General support topic for Aeva Media (Latest release: July 28, 2010)

After installing the latest Aeva Media Lite for SMF 1.1.11, when I posted a youtube link it doesn't embed. It just changed my link into a clickable link (with the [ url ] tags) and renames it the name of the video...?

In the Admin page, everything appears to be in check. Except it tells me to upgrade Aeva to the latest version.. The weird this is I am using the "latest version"..

What does it say is the latest version? (sneaking feeling it's reporting the paid version as the latest)

Did you turn on the facility for site lookups in the admin panel (as required for YT and other sites)? Does the video allow embedding?

and, do you have any other mods installed which may be mucking with BBC or javascript? (i.e. another BBC URL mod or the Glossary mod?)

Wow. Why do my questions always get ignored?
This is like the third time this has happened to me on SMF support forum.

Probably because you only just asked it earlier today, that there's almost no real support for Aeva here for multiple reasons and of those that *do* offer support here, I don't think many (any?) of them use TP...

It says the version I'm using is the latest version. I do have video embedding on, and DNS lookups.

I do not have another BBC mod that I know of that could interfere...

The Youtube BBCode mod I unstalled before installing Aeva.. After Aeva failed I uninstalled Aeva and reinstalled the Youtube BBCode mod.

I reinstalled the youtube BBC mod... Aeva isn't installed...
