AFAIK, none of the SSI functions are HTTPS....   you'll have to change the functions in SSI.php and Aeva-Subs.php t handle HTTPS

There's nothing in either SSI.php or Sub-Aeva.php about http or https. As the latest topics and latest posts functions are native SSI.php and they switch from http to https without a hitch I would have expected Aeva's to do the same.  Indeed, as the Aeva system works on the forum itself in secure mode there appears to be no reason this SSI call should not.

SOLVED! Aeva Media has a setting to:

Leave thumbnail URLs in clear view
If enabled, thumbnails will be linked by their direct URL. Saves much server processing time but slightly less secure.

I had this set to No, believing this would force Aeva Media to use the secure setting in Aeva settings to pull down the thumbnail. In fact the reverse was true. I have set this to Yes and all is secure. Or not, depending on how you look at it.

Right click on one of the broken images and select Open Image In New Tab (or Copy Image URL then paste into a Notepad/Word Document), then the URL would be the image's location.

hi.  i've searched around, and while i've found others who have this error in their log, i haven't found a solution.

i am getting several instances of the following error:

I've searched for awhile and I can't find anything. So, if I'm duplicating a previous post I apologize but I'm getting frustrated with my gallery. I have set both gallery and SMF permissions to allow my member to upload to albums but they still can't unless I give them admin control. Is there anything I am still don't wrong.

I have also checked the read and write under the edit album  for members to see and upload but still get nothing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

your issue is almost certainly one of improperly configured permissions...
remember, there are two permissions sections - one for general gallery stuff in SMF permissions and one for specific stuff in the aeva permissions profiles AND you must assign a permissions profile to each gallery...

I get a set of 3 or 4 index errors every time someone uses the AEVA media BBC tag...

...but I'm using the "commercial" version... anyone here willing to help a brotha out?   I'm getting nowhere on noisen (as expected being that I purchased fully aware that there was no official support there offered).

I'd really like to figure out how to stop the errors from piling up.

• If you've been running OK for a while, you can probably safely get rid of the bask_smdb.backup_smf_* tables. They're just backups and may be quite old.
• Is bask_smdb the correct account to check? Make sure they didn't check the wrong one! I would suggest checking it yourself through phpMyAdmin CHECK and/or SMF's admin database maintenance.
• Don't worry about the warning about database version 2.0.1. It's identical to 2.0.2. It's just that the developers can't be bothered to properly check versions before issuing this scary message. Also, you apparently didn't properly upgrade from 2.0.1, and didn't run the upgrade.php script.

Hi

I added a youtube video to Aeva and used it's thumbnail as my album icon. Now, ANY video I add to even another album takes on this icon. Why? It's also using the that video's thumbnail on all newly added videos.

I have saved another thumbnail as the icon but the one still remains regardless.

Also, I add photo titles as I'm mass uploading. Recently I've noticed those titles changing on their own and when I go to edit each one, they change further as I go to the edit screen.

Can someone tell me why it's doing this?

Aeva not play this mp3??

can someone help with this, I have a similar problem. I already checked the play mp3 button. Allowed for external url. I see a player, but hear no sound, nor see any movement.
