No new sites are being added to Aeva at the present time. See also comments earlier about the fact that there may be a lack of time remaining to obtain Aeva for SMF.

The last time I installed Aeva on my SMF forums, I was able to magnify/zoom into images which were embedded into posts too but that doesn't work now, any idea how I can trigger it?

Worth a try...

Aeva > Admin > Configuration > Layout > Miscellaneous > Use Highslide (animated transistions) > try both the Yes and No settings.

And...

Admin > Configuration > Settings > check the max width and height of posted pictures.

We've recently installed this MOD, mostly for its ability to embed Google Maps. Normal maps are OK, but Streetview gives very poor quality. Worse than the original image on Google Maps.

Ok, when I change "output=embed" into "output=svembed", Google Maps finally work correctly!!

Hallo , i got the old SMF-Media 2.03 or somthing. And i desided when we moved to new place that its gone get some software upgrade ,like SMF 1.13 and SimpelPortal 2.3.3 and then Aeva . I patch up the forum to 13 and Uninstall the TP and applyed new version all OK..And then uninstall SMF-Media like em said , and install the Avea . No error message and then press back button to see portal its was blank... Just WHITE.. So whats going on?..

If you're able to uninstall both mods then reinstall making sure you install Aeva first, then the Portal.

I using my backups from other side, no problem to install and try again ... But haven tryed to uninstall portal and then aeva, nr 2 on my list. Offtopic : ive tought i shuld just go for SMF2 , hehe Aeva works there but simpelportal goes highware on my CHMOD and ask root to 777 and the server dont like the 777 on root. And i cant find a good tip to manual install the SP so its not shuting down the server atonce i press APPLY MOD.. Anyways gona try to uninstall the sp first, and next would probley be the Charset error.. But ive been there and done that.. haha

A quick question. I want for all membergroups to allow them create only 1 album and 1 photo inside the album but i can not do that.

In admin panel\Main settings\Max number of files in a directory = 1 and also

admin panel\Main settings\Layout\Max sub-albums per line = 0

but it dont seem to work. All users can create more than 1 album and upload  a lot of pics

What can i do?

I can't un-install the mod, can't do anything with it.  The files and photos also don't show up.

Hello, I have recently had to do a backup from my host as my site crashed, I have read hours and hours of these support pages and I cant seem to make sense out of them.
I understand that SMF gallery is no long supported and i had lost mgal data, so I removed all smf from my site and installed aeva 1.4c it crashed my site , had to rollback again, I tired again and 2 files error ed when installing and crashed again had to rollback, I then tried to install lite crashed and rollback, i then reinstalled smf gallery and my site is back to how I had it originally. with a gallery full of 218 photo links that error and say the data is missing.
I am not confident enough to find php files and alter them, Aeva want work and the gallery is useless.
Is there anyone on here who can guild me through repairing my gallery so my friends pic's are not lost. simply and in simple terms

I doubt it, to be honest... I know myself and the author have the skills, but the author can't reply and I know I can't do it in simple terms (nor do I have the time to sit and do it for you), maybe someone else will be able to help though.

The file that errors is  ./Themes/default/index.template.php if I install without this file it crashes the site to a blank exploror page.

You're asking for it to be in simple terms, and that's something I can't offer right now.

That is usually because another mod has already changed the code that the installer is looking for and you will probably need to manually edit the file. What is the code it is looking for and the code it is either going add or replace? And are you using SMF 1.x or 2.0 RCx?
