I replied quickly because you were lucky I refreshed the topic page at the right moment...

Tell you what. After you download locally your files, try renaming a few of them to .jpg and launch them. Are they visibly corrupted? If not, try uploading said file to your new server. Is it corrupted? If yes, check the file size. If it's the same, it may be a bug, which I strongly doubt.
Also, make sure to upload files in BINARY mode, not ASCII. Some FTP clients don't always correctly set the flag.

did it, apparently they have been downloaded corrupted.

been trying to redownload for the last couple of hours, but ironically, today of all days godaddy's server is down.

Nao, great work on your mods. I really liked AEVA Media. It was one of the top notch add-ons to SMF period. Sure there were bugs but that's natural and hundreds if not thousands of members on our site have enjoyed the features which you and a few others have developed into a great package. I wish you good times whatever you do. Most importantly I want to thank you for what you have offered for our community and for taking your personal time to lend me a helping hand a little while back.

I just installed the latest rev (227) of AM on a test SMF 2.0 RC3 server and it seems to run OK.  Anyone know of issues?   Nao, I believe you had prepped this already?

If Nao himself/herself has attitude, what's wrong with the SMF Management's attitude ? The rules on the forum apply to all members, whether you are the author of a most-popular mod or just a newbie.

If you want to make a mod for SMF, make it because it interests you....if you want to be a kid and stop making mods just coz SMF Management banned you for your unruly behaviour...then you are better off with your project phoenix or whatever cms you guys are going to.

When you create a mod, dont forget that many forum owners depend on you. Even though it's a free mod and you can stop development at any time, you should atleast have the professionalism to not act in a kiddish way when some unhappy customer demands support and then threaten to leave the community because the SMF administration bans you.

Honestly, we are better off without your mod and your attitude than have you with us.

Your making me laugh, you might not need it for your small forum but the big guys like me with tens of thousands of pageviews a day need this mod to gain more media content, provide downloads, streaming, etc.

I'm not sure what is meant by "wrote in REV255". Where would I go to safely read what has happened here? I like NAO and have been an ardent, but honest supporter and am grieved to learn of this unfortunate chain of events. That is what little I have learned.  Maybe I'm a beanhead, but I can't figure out how to get noisen.com in English, though I've been there in the past a fair bit and there doesn't seem to be anything on smf-media.com.

Sorry again: After I deleted  the file cache in SMF the german language is displayed.

@Arantor : It's ridiculous to expect everyone to be friendly and appreciative. Most are, but you surely would get a few who would make you angry with their demands. Does that mean you get angry back at the, stop development of the mod and forget about the others who are indeed appreciative of your work ? Where is this attitude going to get one in life ?

@Royalduke : No I don't know what the mod does. I have been using forums for 10 years but i still have to understand the basic features of a mod. I dont even know how to post in this forum..it's magic that i am posting here.

I totally agree that Aeva could be a paid mod, it's that good. But the author has decided to make it free. If he wants to charge or not is his problem. Just because it's free doesn't mean we have to accept his tantrums.

@ RoyalDuke : LoL ....small forum owners like me...big guys like you ...great attitude you bring here. I am not questioning what functionality Aeva brings to a forum. But with a unstable mod creator...no matter how good the mod is..it wont be useful when SMF goes to its next version and the so called BIG forum owners like you would have to migrate to another mod or another software (both of which are not good from a marketability point of view)

Hi there,

2 days ago I have installed AEVA MEDIA 1.0  mod. Even the installation was successfully completed but my forum showed fatal error. This issue has been resolved now but another issue that was indicated by the member is still there.

The issue is that when member post any non-English text (UNICODE-Baluchi Font) Preview of the post is okay but after posting its size becomes short.
Screen shots are attached herewith. One shot is based on PREVIEW of the POST and another shot based on the posted topic.

It would be so kind of you if any one help me out to resolve this issue.
