Okay, I found the layout Page inside the Admin panel
of Aeva !

Well, one thing that still puzzles me are the 2 different viewing modes.

How can I enable, so that when I click a thumbnail
picture I will get directly to the Filestack mode,
where I also can read the picture comments ?

Can also somehow the

poster info and Item Info

be moved
to the bottom below the comments ?
Or above the picture ?
I really want to have all comments directly below the picture.

Or is it possible to have the comments also inside the footer of
the Highslide popup ?

Second, I have to state that this mod is very well supported.
You will not find any unresolved problem. This mod is working rock solid out of the box. Most problems are "handmade by user" and Nao is paying permanent attention to make sure that it is not this mod which is causing a glitch.

Ianus, to read what he has written on his own web gave me the impression he does not support it. He stated to one user that he has retired the mod. This mod is fairly young from what I have seen and I am truly enjoying it. I was upset that it seemed he was no longer doing anything with it. He has clarified that he is still supporting it when he can and that makes the difference to me. But again to read what he says on his website it is presented totally different.

"More supported websites" are a complete different story which has nothing to do with the mod support itself.. It's Nao's decision if a website is worth enough to spend time on writing code for it.

The best example is your request. This mod is so well done, that even a programming-idiot like me is able to add embed code for another website.
I am not telling other people to spend their time on something that fit my needs. If someone decides to offer something useful,  I am the lucky guy, if I need more than that, I try to make it on my own.

I attempted to do this myself and trust me I am a total programming-idiot I just was not able to make it work at all. After several attempts I turned to the web for help to find that there really wasn't any.

Third, this website offers some very interesting features for gamers.
There is a free recording software which allows easy recording while playing.
Additionally a user is allowed to upload this files without the 10 minute capture.
I'm not sure about the free space for video files, but I think it's 1 gigabyte.

Personally I would really like to see this site growing. It has the potential to become a big benefit for gamers – but also some horrible bad habits.
One of them is the video player itself.

I have created an account there and want to use it for an additional feature for my own page.
So I spend days to get familiar with x-fire itself, days to get the idea of regular expressions and with the way this mod is working.

I looked at your site..is that with Aeva? We are able to embed just fine in SMF forums. It was the Aeva issue that came up. Let me explain to you how I use it. We used to just have a gallery with an area for people to upload their photos. Then Aeva came about and I saw that we could do Boss Strats in one area and we have someone who likes to do a Random video of the day. So it seemed that it would work nicely. One of my guys started using the xfire recorder and was not able to upload the link to Aeva. So this is where we are.

What I am also missing is some
support for the RSS feed.

I am using twitterfeed.com to push
new postings to Twitter and Facebook
and it would be cool
to also use it to push new posted galleries and
picture comments via RSS to these other social networks.

Also user SlammedDime should integrate the galleries and
comments into his Sitemap mod, otherwise the galleries and
comments might not get spidered by the search engines.

I haven't fully implemented the gallery since a hack a few weeks back. Needless to say I had to start back up from scratch and re-upload everything. Now, I just ran an error check on aeva media, and I got the following:

- Filestack mode is for album pages, not item pages.
- You can change the layout for item pages, but only by editing the template. You'll have to do it again on each upgrade.
- No comments in the highslide popup, because if all items have comments, it requires to load them all in one page. I could do it via Ajax, but it's overkill. The current version already indicates the number of comments, which wasn't the case before. It entices users to click the "more details" link.
- As already said, all possible RSS feeds (and even a bit more) are available through the Foxy! add-on.
- I don't want anything to do with SlammedDime. He didn't even bother to answer my PM where I gave him specific details on how to make his Subaccounts mod compatible with Aeva Media (which I totally didn't have to send him), *and* he post-banned me twice in a year. I never did anything to him, so he obviously has a biased opinion of me.
