Can I get a LATEST UPLOADS of gallery block for simplePortal? how?

Cannott get embedded videos to display.  I have upgraded my forum from 1.1.11 to 2.0 rc3 and AM to ver 1.2.  All embedded videos are now only showing as links but play in highslide? On checking the video embed addresses, I find that [URL] tags have been added when I save the links. 

I also have Hacks SMF Gallery Pro installed, would there be a conflict?

That's a heavily modded forum you have there. I don't provide compatibility support.
Also, AeMe doesn't launch at all for embedding, so it's definitely an error on your side. Did you actually ENABLE the auto-embed mod..?!

And finally: I don't even see a link to the gallery... If you don't need the gallery and prefer to use SMF Gallery (I'm not sure why but it's a free world), use Aeva Light. Should be good enough for you, since it only does the embedding stuff. It probably misses a couple of the embedding features from AeMe but I'm sure you won't even notice them, given the number of, err, features and links that are forbibly shown to my eyes.

Thanks for that NAO, a bit disappointing but we cant have everything.  It was working fine in smf 1.1.11 even with all the mods, but for some reasn it dont like smf 2.  Thanks again.

That's what SMF does. Auto-linking. You can disable that in SMF settings I believe.

OK I upgraded to rc3 with 1.1b and everything was working perfectly.

I uninstalled 1.1b and installed 1.2 and now I have no Highslide.. I cleared the smf cache and browser just to check.

I did knotice that I can get highslide if I click in a small spot in the picture that leadme to look at the source and I found this in the code.

If you notice the Highslide is attached to a space and not to the image... I will check the templates later when I have more time.

The code of mods is overwritten by RC3 upgrade (since you ARE overwriting all files when upgrading). But the settings of the mods typically remain in the database (if they had settings in the database), so after you reinstall them on RC3 (in case they're compatible), they should most likely find their old settings back.

Well, sadly I'll have to disappoint you. Even Simpleportal couldn't retrieve it's settings and blocks..

Then you have something else goin on there because Simpleportal has most of it's code in it's own files.

I did this a few weeks ago and now I can't find it either. I don't know which file you mean in either version. I thought you were referring to modifications.______.php even though I didn't think I remembered that being the file.

Is there is a reason why, when I copy the images from ftp from my webhost to my PC, the images are somewhat corrupted? (e.g. tearing in photos and what not) These images were uploaded via aeva of course and look perfect when you look at them from aeva, but when I download them from ftp, its horrible.

Your FTP package is probably using Autotype to determine if this an ASCII or Binary. Since it can't figure it out by the extention, it proabbly select binary. In your FTP software, manually set the type to binary and download again.

However I did notice sometimes that when installing a mod on my current paid host, files that need to be extracted seem to get corrupted (like no extension, partially extracted, ... On the other hand; as I know that this may occur, I've checked every extracted aeva file...

When I try to embed a mp3 file, the player appears, and then the link appears too.
Is there any way to only see the player, and not the text of the link?

I'm having troubles with the menu for my aeva media. For some reason it displays them vertically. This is on smf 2.0 rc3 and I have tried different versions and fresh installs and nothing seems to change still. I can't seem to post a link to my board either.
