If a link doesn't work in AeMe after a site update, it means all of their external embeds are broken. You should tell them how they stink...

So, I'm considering to switch to a full paid mode for AeMe. What do you think of this? v1.3 would remain free, but all subsequent releases would be reserved to paying customers. Would still be a cheap pricetag, like $20-$30, and it would of course also include a copy of the Foxy! add-on. I suppose it would keep everyone happy. More AeMe releases, and less trouble for me to deal with.

That sounds to be a reasonable and competitive price.

Yahoo has a feature that you can add #t=01m30s to the end of of the yahoo video url and that will cause the video to start at 1 minute 30 seconds.

However, I cannot get this to work in smf and aeva media. Does anyone have any suggestions?

@Yogi> No. One of the many reasons I started slowing down the pace of releases was because I was always worried of releasing a copy of Foxy! along with the main package (because I develop Foxy! along with the rest obviously.) It only worsened when the SVN server changed. (Now I guess I won't be using it anymore.) So, no, I won't separate them again.

After reading pages and pages of posts, I am still at a loss.  I have this great mod setup on one site (embed only), so I wanted to add it to another.  Everything seems to install fine - other than Subs.php errors, which I manually edited.  When I try to post a youtube video, all I get is the name of the video linked to the the youtube video on their site. 

Am I missing something in the setup that anyone can think of?  Did I miss something in the Subs.php edit?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Since the media forum is not taking registrations, could someone please ask the developer to either learn math or add a way to turn off the rating system. The weighted average is NOT what people are used to seeing, and it's just darned annoying. Thanks.

I know they're trying to pass it off as 'weighted average' but it's just stupid.

Seems to be all videos.  I have tested all sorts of videos.

If I paste a link like

It shows a link like Metallica- Welcome home (Sanitarium) music video.  But no embedded video.

Your best bet is to use the Search, select only the Aeva field and put in "rating". If no luck then post on the main support thread in the Board linked above.

Is there a way to turn off the media gallery tab / link and also the whole function. But leave the auto embed features for topics and posts etc... ??

It looks fine to me using IE8 in Compatability Mode, NFSMW.

What you describe can usually be cured either by reducing the number of thumbnails on each line, reducing their size, or increasing your screen resolution.

hello, ive read all the pages and havent quit found the answer. Im using SMF 1.1.11/Blackrain1111 Theme. the install went great while using the default theme, but not the custom. so I made the necessary changes to the index.template.php(which im attaching). now i have a button and the gallery is working awesome, however...i think im still missing a piece of code for the button to look right.im also providing the screenshot. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
