General support topic for Aeva Media (Latest release: July 28, 2010)

The bug dates back to last December, so it was already in 1.0 Betas and 1.0 Final. Why wasn't it spotted earlier, and several users noticed it on the same day...?

...Because RC2 dates back to before December. (Silly me.)

- Removed specific install code for signatures, as sigs were already accounted for in the parser, and it actually added a glitch in SMF2 RC3. (install-both.xml)

You can also simply open Load.php and remove this code:

I don't think it should break anything else... (Heck, I *hope* so, at this point.)

My load.php file actually had this:

Maybe because I grabbed the updated version? Anyway, somebody searching their file may not find it looking for the plain Aeva version.

If nobody else volunteers I'll have a bash - will teach me about AeMe for when we go live on SMF (when, eventually, 2.0 is released). First off send me a few to see if we're both happy with the results.

You're loading a different version of Highslide on the same page... Don't be surprised that it doesn't work! It's like if you tried to drive two cars at the same time. You need to either delete any stuff related to another Highslide, or disable AeMe's HS.

@chep> Err... Let me repeat. It IS possible to change a sub-album's position after creating it. Click on MY ALBUMS. Click on MOVE next to the album you want to move. Choose a destination. Done.

Yours is the correct one that needs to be remove. BTW, can you confirm it had the "aeva media changes" comment *misindented* compared to the rest?

Admin?? Doesn't mean anything. And videos are never resized in the first place. If picture resizing doesn't work, change the image handler in the AeMe settings.

If you don't want to help me help you, then don't post here and uninstall the mod. I don't have time to play puzzles with you really.

Didn't notice you had an attachment. Why didn't you simply paste the stuff here...?

As for the line 1636 error, it's because I never met the error before, and understandably forgot to set an error context for it. This will be fixed in 1.1a, but it will only fix "that" error. It won't fix the original error -- wrong file permissions, or wrong settings.

Yes! Problem with installed Highslide Image Viewer mod for SMF, i am uninstall it and HS in Aeva work properly, sank you for support! But in older versions of Aeva it's mod working with Aeva and no problems. and now pictures attached in forum messages do not show as HighSlide.

I have still the Problem that videos and embeded videos that are marked es new, will be marked after seeing it still as new. The "New-tip" won't disapear.  (Aeva Media 1.1 in use)

I'm sorry to wake sleeping dogs, but i just installed rev232 on a fresh copy, and still no view count for embedded mp3.

I use aeva mainly for mp3, which i must embed, cause for some reason using the jwPlayer freezes the entire website for the duration of the loading (which is long for the mp3 are 25mb each), you've tried to help me with it before, but no luck.

i know that the whole change to the views system was somewhat my fault, so i humbly inquire - is there any chance for a fix on the issue?

even if not, version 1.0 is still a peace of art, and suits my needs, so don't feel obligated...

...Hello everyone

new user here...great forum software and great mods...moving from phpBB and absolutely love it

have a few problems using Aeva ..on my production server ...it's working absolutely fine on the local computer

the problems are

1) when i upload an image ...it says uploading 100% but then it shows me just a "computer icon" and image size as 0KB. same thing happens with mass upload.

2) tried uploading via ftp. it worked but not showing me the thumbs or the preview image in the gallery. when i click on it for the full image...the image does show up

3) checked mgal_data/albums/general/dir_1/

and found my ftp uploaded images with their thumbs but the file name ends with    18a_extjpg   and not .jpg

so if u download it on ur computer and open it..it says "open with which software"

now this is some problem with the server not Aeva, but am not able to solve it ..please help

I figured it was something along those lines.

While I can surmise what the word itself means, I'm not sure what "misindented" is in the context of PHP. Does this mean whether and or how much a piece is indented can effect the function? In any case I already removed the comment and don't actually have a backup of that dev forum. Sorry.

I thought could be problem installing, that is unzipping the mod...so tried with uploading the mod first to the packages folder, it installed correctly but then crashed my SMF with the warning
