I've tried the Dirty Hack but I still have no embeds for vimeo.

any Ideas?
I just get the link, with the https://vimeo.com/58314808
with out the https:// i just get the words vimeo.com/58314808

if I put the url's around it I still get just a link.

I never get an error, just no embed.

with or without the hack I get no error.
any ideas would be great!!!

Okay, definitely came to this party very late, but hoping someone may be able to assist with following.  I am trying my luck here I know as the converter was tested on coppermine 1.4 and I am running 1.5.22. 

Running the converter.php to import Coppermine to Aveva.  It converts all of the Albums fine but then I get the following error when it starts on the pictures:

Database Error
Unknown column 'filename' in 'where clause'
File: /home/<forum>/converter.php
Line: 339

So the process ends with that error although I have some nice album folders imported into Aeva they are empty.

UPDATE
I decided to cut my losses with coppermine and will just keep the old folders for the images already embedded in the forum.  I think relocating the images in the posts might have been a pain.  I actually had an old Lite SMF gallery folder which the convertor worked fine on but that only had about 40 images.

Go to phpMyAdmin and repair the table. Though that doesn't look like an SMF table.

This. Aeva Lite is NO GALLERY. That's the big difference. It doesn't remove the auto embedder, the Lite version is *just* the embedder.

Was there ever a solution to the 'admin / configuration gives a blank page' issue? I have checked permissions, uninstalled and reinstalled, upgraded to 2.10 (and find that the Aeva Media button on new posts doesn't do anything), changed the forum back to curve, changed it to English and searched this thread for settings, blank and permissions but to no avail.

I have never seen this mod throw a blank page on admin (note, a blank page usually means a critical failure in php itself)
and the aeva media button in posts works just fine for me, to upload and insert images directly into a post

If your hosting (cPanel) error log doesn't say anything, and SMF's Error Log doesn't say anything, look for "error_log" or similar files scattered around your site directories (SMF directories). If nothing there, view the source on the blank pages to see if there's any error message there. If nothing, do you have error message display or reporting suppressed somewhere?

Is this a common issue? Any known fix?

I did a keyword search for "lag" in this thread, and surprisingly came up with no matches... so maybe my problem is unique, but since adding this mod (installed with no errors), my server is painfully lagged and effectively unusable, attempting to uninstall... lag is so far preventing even that from successfully taking place... may have to upload last saved state to recover the server (hopefully).
