No problem with the representation of hebrew (or arabic) characters, also not with the right to left direction.

Here are some sample hebrew buttons. Please check and feedback if that representation is correct. I do not speak hebrew so copied the text strings from a hebrew language yabb se board. My question is not if the precise text on the buttons is precisely right or not, but if the words represent hebrew in the correct way.

That is great, but when you finish with the buttons ask me to verify them. :)

Did you recieve my email? I sent you a file to insert the hebrew button texts... I need your strings inserted there in order to continue, of course you will have to check then the buttons...

Guess that [Show unread posts since last visit] and [Show new replies to your posts] are missing in the right files ;)

They simply are not in the distribution.

bdawww!  those are the two best features of SMF, other than speed and possibly the "new template system".  that won't be in the public beta?

The simplemachines.org template isn't in the distribution, but these functions are. You can easily include the two links in your own template :)

I put them in my template as buttons ;)

Simple and easy (and they only show up when logged in...)

[Unknown]

Just so you know, if you copied the buttons here, you just copied a copyrighted work, which is sorta kinda illegal.

We had a team member do it and I had to ask him to take them down.

pulpitfire

are you guys using buttons for those links somewhere?  i think he means he made buttons for the links...

[Unknown]

Sorry, I'm dumb.  Missed the word "as" and made it "the" and thought it was a typo... seemed weird... guess I'm tired.
