Is it normal that I have, "Embedding by Aeva Media, © Noisen" 2 times at the bottom of the page, like this:
Embedding by Aeva Media, © Noisen
Embedding by Aeva Media, © Noisen

??

Tiribulus

It looks like you installed it more than once somewhere along the way and that piece didn't uninstall.

noaccess

I installed and uninstalled it three times actually. It's because I was upgrading and each time it went wrong... (was still using SMG and Aeva). Had to do many things manually.

You KNOW I'm not supporting the mod here, don't you?
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Hi there!

Ok I thought this is a support forum for Aeva mod since all this answers to questions  ;)

But I am also registered in your own forum, just a little bit difficult because of the language there. Will ask you there tomorrow.

It's a support forum... It's just that I'm not providing support myself. There's a topic about that. (Although part of its content is outdated and I shall modify it if I ever get mod access on it.)

- You don't have to register over there to post a new question (either topic or post),
- There's a British/US flag at the top... It's not only there because I like British shows, you know..........

Just wondering if it's possible to prevent a member from voting on their own uploaded images?

Err... I don't remember.
I think it's best to leave uploaders rate their own stuff. After all, they may just be rating some other guy's work which they uploaded. They should be entitled to their own opinion. "I've uploaded this crap, I need to rate it 1/5 to make sure people don't think I've uploaded it because it's a masterpiece, only because it's laughable..."

@stigmartyr> Uh it's already powered by Ajax... I'm not too fond of clickable stars, though.

Sry - you're right it is.  I meant the drop down gets 0.0001% participation.  Clickable ratings are pretty standard.  Not trying to make life more difficult for ya, just that people aren't draw to action by a drop down anymore.  They are literally that lazy.

Nao 尚

Well, I don't think ratings are that important a feature. They are, but... There are more priorities to me.
For instance, these days I'm working on enabling some of the 'Maintenance' features to be performed on specific albums only.

Nao, you might not have gained any rep among the SMF managers but I guarantee that you gained your rep among the regular members like me who use your mod. Props for being the man and sticking to it for such a long time.

Aeva is a cool mod, just wish I didn't have so many problems with getting it to work. The screenshots make it worth it though. ;)

Thank you.

But ever since my post above, the team has had internal changes, so it no longer applies to the current team obviously... (If only because I've been invited to it :P)

How can I make it so that no matter what(if you are in the comments and rating section, search results, and just in the media tab) if you click on the thumbnail for either a video or a picture it shows the image or brings up the player for the video? If you're too busy just let me know what file to look at for this.  Thanks for your time either way.

Aeva Media 1.2 is out!

Version 1.2                                          June 1, 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------
+ Added Maintenance tab to album pages, for admins only. Allows 'Prune',
'Regenerate' and 'Check Orphans' tasks to be launched for one album only.
+ Added 'Mark all as read' function to Album pages.
This will mark all pages as read in that album.
+ Added 'Mark page as read' function to Unseen area.
This will mark that page's items as read, and will skip to the next.
+ Added plenty of rounded corners everywhere for Opera 10.5x,
Safari 4, Firefox 3 and Chrome.
+ Added strip command to ImageMagick handler if available, to save a few bytes.
* Check Orphans task used to be super-slow. Now it's super-fast. Simple.
! A misplaced closing div broke lightbox support for embedded videos.
! The Media menu entry didn't specify the is_last flag, breaking a few themes.
- Deleted all occurrences of fixPictureSize(), as it's been deprecated for a while.
! Regeneration would fail for pictures embedded remotely via the Foxy! add-on.
- Completely disabled Highslide preloading of images, as it would
corrupt the unseen state of items adjacent to viewed ones.
! Viewed embeds wouldn't update the unseen counter.
* Improved Curve-type styling for SMF 2.0 RC3.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

I am mentally challenged, it's because it's flvs file from an unsupported site so I have to enter it.  Don't know why it took me so long to figure that out.  Thanks for responding.

As a thought I had recently.

Is it worth me using a picture resizer package before adding pictures to the gallery?

Is a maximum number of images which can be added to any single album/folder?

YogiBear

1.2 installed successfully, Nao, but the Aeva index page insists the latest version is 1.1b so thinks 1.2 is out of date.
