@ SN95Forums : arghh! where you say you erased it did you mean you uninstalled it first then deleted or simply deleted?

To uninstall just click onto Uninstall beside Aeva in your Packages section.

What I'm hoping is you haven't now got a double installation as the solution to that is to remove the code manually.

no it was already un-installed. I did not erase without uninstalling.

Soulmaster

oke i think i fixed it, what i did was

1. uninstall the mod
2. reinstall

and there it was :) it works great again.

Ive just installed the aeva media 1.4c on RC5 i got one error in subs.php which ive fixed the error was

find
'mlist' => array(

add before
// Aeva Media changes 'media' => array( 'title' => (isset($txt['aeva_gallery']) ? $txt['aeva_gallery'] : 'Media') . (!allowedTo('aeva_access_unseen') || empty($user_info['aeva_unseen']) || $user_info['aeva_unseen'] == -1 ? '' : ' [<b>' . $user_info['aeva_unseen'] . '</b>]'), 'href' => $scripturl . '?action=media', 'show' => allowedTo('aeva_access'), 'sub_buttons' => !allowedTo('aeva_access_unseen') || empty($user_info['aeva_unseen']) || $user_info['aeva_unseen'] == -1 ? array() : array( 'aeva_home' => array( 'title' => $txt['aeva_home'], 'href' => $scripturl . '?action=media', 'show' => true, ), 'aeva_unseen' => array( 'title' => $txt['aeva_unseen'], 'href' => $scripturl . '?action=media;sa=unseen', 'show' => true, 'is_last' => true, ), ), ), // End Aeva Media changes

The only thing is there is no tab to get to it ??? i can get to it manualy via mysite?action=media and its all working i just dont have a tab to get there...How can i fix this.

That 'error' is the code you're supposed to add into Subs.php... except that you're using IE which broke all the line breaks and possibly missed some stuff.

Your module is too good but its consuming too much resources of SERVER CPU that's why my hosting company insisted me to uninstall it.
To test the exact issue I have temporarly uninstalled this module and got too much difference in page opening speed at the bottom of the page.

Please do the needful so that we could also take advantage of your module.

Best regards,

I bet you it isn't this mod, what other mods do you have?

In any case, just for those who didn't see the mod page update: it is not being developed any further for SMF.

So, was both Aeva Lite and Aeva Media installed at the same time? Did you enable every possible site?

It doesn't really matter, it's not going to be updated anyway.

So, was both Aeva Lite and Aeva Media installed at the same time?

I was using Aeva Media    1.4b since long but today as my hosting company mentioned about this module I had uninstalled it then checked page created time difference.
At the time of installed module, Page created time was 6.5 seconds while after uninstall  it became Page created in 0.133 seconds with 17 queries.

Then I had downloaded and uploaded   Aeva ~ Auto-Embed Video & Audio    7.1 but the page created time was still same as previous.

Sorry I did not get this.

Arantor

It's not the gallery part, it's the auto embedding part that's the problem. Aeva knows about 200 sites and you have to turn them on in order to have the URL recognised.

Admin > Aeva Media > Auto Embedding > Sitelist

If you had all of them on, hardly surprising that it's slow. Turn off the ones you don't need.

Hello. I have a problem. I uploaded a few music videos. But when i want to play it it shows its loading for almost 10mins.
Then i quit the operation. And all the other members of my site get the same error with this.
My site is info-hype.com

Arantor

Type of video? Link to where this is actually happening?

when i try to mass upload...each pic fails. i checked and java script/flash are enabled...where else should i look? thanks

one pic at a time works, and the gallery itself works too.
