I just tried it too, and it worked for me, so I guess the package is fine. Can you please open a support topic in the Support boards on the issue, and I'm sure we will be able to assist with the problem. We will figure out what's wrong. :)
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

1) Updated 1.1.11 -> 1.1.12 no problem with a tiny manual edit to Display.template.php

2) Any reason the copyright year on 1.1.12 is still 2009 and not 2010?

Installed without any problem (and my forum is strongly modded and personalized) from admin panel (just one click) ;)
Well done, great Job :)

Just out of curiosity, would you mind listing your mods?
thanks in advance.

Cal O'Shaw

Just opened the support topic here.  Includes list of MODs.

If the other people having problems want to see if we have the same MODs installed, that may help.

SilverKnight

Update sucks.. over 3 quaters of avaliable mods don't work\install properly.

Oya

sleepy, bloc

$modSettings['integrate_display_buttons'][] = 'your_custom_function_name';

won't work

it's expecting a comma separated list of functions to call, which is why you should use add_integration_hook to manage it rather than doing it yourself - the first line in both the call and add functions is to explode it...

Cal O'Shaw

SMF 1.1.11 users: If you have the Version Emulation Dropdown MOD installed, make sure it is set to "1.1.11" otherwise the package fails!

The "call_integrate_function" inside templates..how do you actually use them for mods or custom theme needs?

Is it enough to supply a function called "integrate_display_buttons" yourself, which then adds your buttons to the supplied array - or do you actually call a internal SMF function named "integrate_display_buttons"? Or is it just a hook to a $modSettings entry, which has the actual function to execute, adding the buttons? (which would make more sense since several mods could define their own "integrate_display_buttons" functions at the same time. :P )

If thats so, then I wonder if its possible to let *themes* add their button function hooks too, added to $modSettings array in the template_init() function?

Bloc,
Basically its like this:
$modSettings['integrate_display_buttons'][] = 'your_custom_function_name';

Of course, its best to use the proper functions to append that variable and let it get updated in the settings table so it will continue to exist. (ie add_integration_function('integrate_display_buttons', 'your_custom_function_name'); ).  Classes and methods are also supported.

Thanks for the clarification.

Darn...

Just tested 2 of my best modifications for SMF 2.0 RC4

All test failed -.-

Thankfully they only show one error each, so it won't be a big edit but still...

Please, make a topic in the appropriate Support board, you'd receive faster and qualified assistance.

Cograts for the nice job! The 2.0 RC Final is on the way!!!

Subject13

Great job improving it. But I did everything correctly on SMF 1.1.12 Manual Edit. I did it and the voting polls don't work... but other than that, great job. ;)
